Canada via Chicago (Saturday in the Falls)

Throw in The Best of Chicago (you know you own it) and sync this post up to Saturday in the Park. It's like that Wizard of Oz/Dark Side of the Moon thing...you know...creepy and unnecessary. Why this song was looping in my head is a story for another post...

Saturday in the Falls. I think it was Victoria Day.

Saturday in the Falls I think it was Victoria Day

People spending, casino’s winning
This tool on the slot machine
Losing lots of cash

Clifton Hilling, Children whining
Can I kill them? No, I can’t?

I hope I hit the 6-4-9
In Canada

At Wal-mart in the Falls. I think it was Victoria Day

Loco’s bleeding, attacked by shelving
Ketchup Chips and Five Alive
I may need a tetanus shot.

Will you help me find these movies?
Can you help me? No? You can’t?
And I’ve been waiting such a long time
For Snowcake.

Ferris wheel riders. Floral clock? Not today.
I tried man, but still can’t get out to the ballet
Cover charges?
What is the cost? What is the cost???
Oh,no! No!

Getting drunk in the Falls. I think it was tasty ice wine.

And I’ve been waiting such a long time .
Victoria Day!

This weekend I went up to Canada (If you didn't pick up on that you get a D for reading comprehension) with some friends and had a spectacular time doing Niagara Falls-ie things. I wanted to blog about it and thought I'd take a different approach this time. If I simply blogged about driving to Canada and drinking you'd be getting the same repetitive post about every 60 days. More pics over at Flickr.

I don't know anyone who spends more time crafting blog posts about obscure events, much less synchronizing them to a soundtrack of implied shame. If anyone needs a Bloggy nomination next year, it's you, the honorary Canuck.
